البحث في غوغل دون الاتصال بالانترنت

قالت شركة غوغل رائدة البحث على الانترنت انها تعكف على إعداد برامج تعمل بالاتصال ودون الاتصال بشبكة الانترنت لتسمح لمستخدميها بالعمل في أماكن بعيدة عن الشبكة.. على الطائرات والقطارات وفي الاماكن التي تعاني من ضعف الاتصال بالانترنت أو حتى في أكثر الأماكن بعدا في العالم.

وستسمح هذه التكنولوجيا المسماة غوغل غيرز لمستخدمي أجهزة الكمبيوتر والهواتف وأجهزة أخرى بالتحكم في استخدام خدمات شبكة الانترنت مثل البريد الالكتروني وقوائم الانترنت أو مطالعة الاخبار سواء أكانوا على اتصال جيد بالشبكة أو على اتصال متقطع بها أو دون اتصال بشكل كامل.

وبجسرها الهوة بين خدمات الشبكة الجديدة وبرامج سطح المكتب القديمة حيث كان أي تغير في البيانات يخزن محليا على أجهزة المستخدمين، تدفع غوغل شبكة الانترنت الى مجالات أنشطة جديدة تماما وتضع تحديا أمام منافستها شركة مايكروسوفت عملاق صناعة البرمجيات في عصر سطح المكتب.

وقال جيف هوبر نائب رئيس شركة غوغل للشؤون الهندسية في مقابلة "الشبكة رائعة لكنها لا تعمل بشكل جيد جدا حين لا يتوفر لديك اتصال بها. غيرز يسد الفجوة العملية على الشبكة".

وتعتزم غوغل اتاحة تكنولوجيا غيرز مجانا كبرامج "مفتوحة المصدر" وهو ما يعني أن شركات أخرى سيكون بمقدورها استخدامها وتطويرها في منتجاتها الخاصة.
